Hoy en día, el primero en abandonar ha sido Romain Bardet, el corredor francés ganó el tercer puesto en el Tour de Francia, pero ya en París parecía agotado. En Sagunt tuvimos un doble para Polonia, con el experto Tomasz Marczynski (Lotto Soudal) ganando y Pawel Poljanski (Bora Hansgrohe) detrás de él. El tercero fue el novato Enric Mas (Quick Step).
