A Pink Butterfly and now the terrible Appennino

MONTEFALCO: the Butterfly of Maastricht dresses in pink; as predicted, the Dutchman Tom Dumoulin take the overall race lead and is now ready to start the second half of #giro100 dressing the pink jersey. Tom has now more than 2 minutes advantage from the other riders, the first of them is Nairo Quintana with a gap of 2′:23″

A Giro full of surprise which has already seen 6 different riders dressing the pink jersey: Postlberger, Greipel, Gaviria, Jungels, Quintana and Dumoulin.

This second half of Giro will be even more beautiful then the first one; we will start with the Appennini, from Florence, the city of Gino Bartali, to Bagno di Romagna. There are 4 steps in sequence without plain between each others: Passo della Consuma, Passo della Calla, Passo del Carnaio and then Monte Fumaiolo. Each step is a GPM. Last km downhill or slight slope from 3500m to arrival with a fast descent, wide streets and many curves and bends. There are so many pitfalls, more than a mountain race.
