Daniel Felipe Martinez, the youngest rider of the Giro d’Italia, has shown his qualities getting inside the six men breakaway that characterized the 7th stage.
The colombian of Wilier Southeast was able to win the GPM of Valico della Somma but his action ended at -25 kms to go when the Maglia Rosa bunch came back on him and his breakaway companions.
In the final Manuel Belletti tried to fight for the win achieving a good 12th place altought getting closed in the last km.
