CASTELLANIA-OROPA: Aquí tocamos la leyenda. Salida desde Castellania, ciudad de Fausto Coppi, y se llega al Santuario de Oropa, una ciudad famosa por sus emocionantes carreras de ciclismo. El más hermoso es quizás el regreso mágico de Marco Pantani en el 1999, que tomó el ascenso casi en la última posición para el famoso salto de la cadena. Pantani fue capaz de superar el grupo y también al francés Laurent Jalabert, último en rendirse. CASTELLANIA – OROPA: Qui si sfiora la leggenda. Si parte da Castellania, città di Fausto Coppi, e si arriva al Santuario di Oropa, località ciclisticamente famosa per alcune tappe entusiasmanti. Quella più bella, è forse la magica rimonta di Marco Pantani del 1999, che prese la salita quasi in ultima posizione per il famoso salto della catena.
