Brilliant effort from Eugert Zhupa in the second stage of Tour of Turkey won by Pello Bilbao where he represented the Team Southeast – Venezuela in his second day of racing after the break of the collarbone in Belgium.

Solo pochi centimetri hanno separato Matteo Busato dalla sua prima vittoria in carriera dopo una condotta di gara di grande livello nell’ultima tappa del Giro del Trentino. Il corridore veneto anche oggi è stato il migliore in salita degli uomini del Team Southeast – Venezuela rendendosi protagonista anche di un attacco in compagnia di altri tre corridori tra i -20 ei -10 km all’arrivo. Una volta esaurita l’azione Busato ha tenuto duro nel finale sprintando nel gruppo della maglia ciclamino Mikel Landa e arrivando al 2° posto dietro a Tanel Kangert, piazzamento che gli ha permesso di salire fino all’11° posto in classifica generale.
