Another breakaway attempt for the riders of Wilier – Southeast with Matteo Busato who escaped from the peloton in the 13th stage of Giro d’Italia without achieving the expected result.Busato attacked with other 31 riders after 40 kms of a race faced with a really high pace in a bunch that involved aswell today’s winner, Mikel Nieve.
The veneto rider tried to hold on but along the second last GPM of today he had to give up and he was caught by the peloton before ending in the 44th place.
Tomorrow will be the day of the dolomitic stage from Farra to Corvara, 210 kms and 5 GPM. It will be a day for real fighters!
