GIRO D’ITALIA: THE PINK ADVENTURE OF WILIER – TRIESTINA HAS STARTED

The wonderful Apeldoorn’s Velodrome was the location of the start of the Giro d’Italia 2016 for Wilier – Triestina with an individual time trial of 9.8 kms useful to break the ice and to feel the amazing atmosphere created by the dutch crowd.

The time trial, unsuitable to the caratheristics of our riders, was won by the local Tom Dumoulin with the young spaniard Julen Amezqueta who was able to defend himself ending with the 87th time 45” away from the Maglia Rosa.

Tomorrow from Arnhem to Nijmegen the 2nd stage of this Giro d’Italia will give to the sprinters their first chance in this race and we hope we can get an important result.
