GIRO D’ITALIA: WILIER – SOUTHEAST ON THE ATTACK ON THE DOLOMITI

Another fighting day for the riders of Wilier – Southeast who were brilliant in the 14th stage of Giro d’Italia with Daniel Martinez and Matteo Busato in the breakaway.

The young colombian rider couldn’t follow the rhytm of his companions on the second of the six KOM of today while his team mate, already in the break of yesterday’s stage, held on till the Passo Giau where he was chased by the Maglia Rosa bunch. The 26th place doesn’t give credits to his generosity but “Buso” promises that he will try aswell during the third week.

Bad new of today the abandon of Liam Bertazzo that, after being stopped in the last days by an annoying cold, he had to go back on the team car. His first Giro d’Italia ended like this.
