Wilier – Triestina was really close to get his first win in the Giro d’Italia 2016.
The men of Luca Scinto and Serge Parsani were absolute protagonists in the daily stage first with the 190 kms of breakaway of Eugert Zhupa and then with the final solo of Filippo Pozzato, caught by the peloton with only 300 metres to go.
The stage was closed with the 9th place of Manuel Belletti for a day who confirmed the aggressive attitude of a team always in the front of the race that will still try to achieve the great result in these last four stages towards Torino.
