TERME LUIGIANE: another transfer by sea bring the Giro from Sicily to Calabria. Yesterday we guess our prediction with the Colombian Fernando Gaviria winner in Messina, even thanks to the help of our athlete Davide Martinelli, always a key in this kind of race.
After leaving the Etna, still visible in the background of the Lungomare Matteotti, the Giro go to Aspromonte, right at the bottom of Italy, in Reggio Calabria, one of the oldest cities in Europe. The 217 km stage ends at Terme Luigiane with a slight uphill where there are thermal springs for skin care. One of the spa is cold while the other 3 flow at 45°. Just before the arrival the Giro cross beautiful cities such as Scilla, Palmi, Mileto and Amantea.
