MATTEO BUSATO CLAIMS A TOP 5 AT GIRO DELL'APPENNINO

Matteo Busato is the best of the Team Southeast – Venezuela’s riders at Giro dell’Appennino, race won by the russian Sergey Firsanov with a classy solo attack in the final.

The veneto rider confirmed one more time his great form of the first months of the year managing to keep the rhytm of the bunch of riders who was just behind Firsanov and then sprinting up to the 5th place in a race made even harder by the rain.

Damaged by the weather conditions Enrique Sanz and Daniel Felipe Martinez, both felt down in the downhill of Colle Caprile where the main bunch splitted leaving in the second part also a very unlucky Filippo Pozzato.
