First top 10 in the Giro d’Italia for Wilier – Southeast with Matteo Busato who achieved a good 8th place in the 4th stage, the Catanzaro – Praia a Mare.
A long and hard stage who brought back the “Carovana Rosa” in Italy with a route that exaltes the qualities of the veneto rider who tried to escape from the peloton with 25 kms to go on the ramps of the second GPM of the day, San Pietro.
In the final of the stage Busato wasn’t able to follow the winner Diego Ulissi but he could sprint in the leaders bunch achieving his 12th top 10 in this 2016.
Tomorrow the Giro goes till North with the finish in Benevento after 233 kms of race.
