TOUR DU HAINAN: ANDRIATO IS 5TH AND RETAINS THE YELLOW JERSEY

The 2nd stage of Tour du Hainan confirmed the great condition of the brazilian Rafael Andriatothat, after yesterday’s win, claimed a good 5th place in the unusual sprint won by the kazakh Tleubayev.

The team worked hard in the chase of the daily breakaway that ended with 15 kms to go when all the teams started to make plans for the final sprint.

The situation changed when, at the last km, two riders from Astana, Lutsenko and Tleubayev, took some metres of advantage, a gap impossible to cover.

Andriato keeps the jellow jersey while the Tour of Hainan will carry on with the hard stage of tomorrow with many tricks in the final kms.
