TOUR DU POITOU – CHARENTES: LONG BREAKAWAY FOR YONDER GODOY

The Tour du Poitou – Charentes of Wilier Triestina – Southeast ends with lot of applauses and some regrets.

The applauses are all for Yonder Godoy, new arrival of the team, who spent all day in a eight men breakaway who became three in the last 20 km thanks to the effort of the venezuelan rider that was caught with only 8 kms to go.

The regret is for the final sprint that was supposed to be joined by Filippo Pozzato but the vicentino rider made a mistake with at 300 metres to go and so he couldn’t fight for the win. The best of our riders was then Rafael Andriato, 22nd with the same time of the winner Sonny Colbrelli.

The next race for Wilier Triestina – Southeast will be on the 3rd of September the Brussels Cycling Classic.
