TOUR OF HAINAN: GIUSEPPE FONZI IN THE TOP 10 OF THE QUEEN STAGE

The Queen stage of the Tour of Hainan was the scene of another great performance from the Wilier Triestina– Southeast riders that were in the front of the peloton during the 10 kms of today’s last climb.

Three riders were able to end in the small bunch 50” away from the winner Mohoric with Giuseppe Fonzi thate ended in 8th place, Cristian Raileanu in 12th and Yonder Godoy 21st after being penalized at the last km by a mechanical.

In the general classification the moldavian stagiare is now in 8th place, 1’03” away from the leader’s jersey while Andriato keeps the podium in the points classification with tomorrow’s stage that looks perfect for his characteristics.
