TOUR OF TAIHU LAKE: GIUSEPPE FONZI ON THE PODIUM OF THE QUEEN STAGE

The bad weather together with the fog didn’t avoid for Giuseppe Fonzi and Wilier Triestina – Southeast to shine in the third stage of Tour of Taihu Lake won by the australian Bayly.

Great performance by the abruzzese rider that, together with the venezuelan Godoy, was in the small leading bunch that fought for the win in the hardest stage of this chinese race.

The third place of Fonzi and the seventh of Godoy let our two riders to climb in the general classification where now they sit on the podium just behind today’s winner Cameron Bayly.

Tomorrow in Wujiang there will be a new chance for the sprinters and between them the points classification leader Jakub Mareczko that will aim for his third win.
