GIRO DEL TRENTINO: MATTEO BUSATO CLOSE TO THE VICTORY IN THE FINAL STAGE

Only few centimetres separed Matteo Busato from his first career victory after an almost perfect race in the last stage of Giro del Trentino.

The veneto rider was once again in the best of the Team Southeast-Venezuela’s men at the finish line after attempting an attack together with other three riders between -20 and -10 kms to go.

In the final Busato was able to stay with the group of the leader Mikel Landa sprinting up to the 2nd place behind Tanel Kangert, a result who made him climb in the general classification up till the 11th place.

This podium and the 19th place of the 19 years old Daniel Felipe Martinez, close the adventure of the Team Southeast-Venezuela at the Giro del Trentino. The next race from Sunday will be the Tour of Turkey.
