![]() The heart rate monitor (HRM) is a tool for measuring the heart rate (in ppm, or pulse per minute). It is composed by a band containing a pair of electrodes placed on the chest at heart level, and a controller coupled to this that receives the single measurements and sends them to the smartphone. The communication uses a Bluetooth® or ANT+™ channel, and to be started you need to wear the sensor correctly.
![]() The cadence sensor is a tool for measuring the pedaling pace (in rpm, or revolutions per minute). It is composed by a magnet, which is typically attached to the pedal, and a controller positioned in front of it on the chainstays. It is important to distinguish sensors stand-alone, which are limited to the measurement of the cadence, from combo ones, which instead consider also the speed through a second magnet positioned on the spokes of the rear wheel. The communication uses a Bluetooth® or ANT+™ channel, depending on the model. To start it properly you may need to give it some pedal stroke for initializing the sensor.
![]() The power meter is an tool for measuring the instantaneous power delivered by the rider with every pedal stroke (in Watts). There are several models that are distinguished mainly by their position on the bike (inside the rear hub, over the pedals, or directly into the bottom bracket). The communication with the smartphone is via a connection ANT+™. Note that these tools, through SportPlusHealth, are no longer necessary because the instantaneous power is accurately estimated by our software crossing the personal data with measurements from the GPS built into the smartphone.
![]() The bike mounts secure an excellent smartphone portability and allow easy reading of data in real-time on their smartphones. There are both universal and specific for certain models of smartphones, easy to assemble and disassemble may also include case and poncho to be able to use your smartphone even in adverse weather conditions.
![]() On the smartwatch will be propagated notifications from Sport Plus Health not to miss a workout and to determine if the app is recording. |
